From the very beginning when I bought my first DSLR Canon 400D in May 2007, my intention was to record the moments for my family and the growth of my lovely pair of kiddo. I was in photography classes during my study in The One Academy back in 1990’s when I was teenager. During film time. I still remember the time spend on developing film, and photo outing at dataran merdeka to capture the magic hour moments. Everything was so exciting and I fall in love with photography since then even it was just a semester with less than 13 classes. However, due to financial problem, I have to quit The One Academy and join a gas industry. As developing films are very expensive at that point of time, I have to hold back my interest on photography After all these years, when i am back into photography, I started shooting portrait and some still life and same time was thinking may be marco photography will be my choice..However, in July 2007, after I join the workshop organized by one of the master of wedding photographers in Malaysia, the slideshow that he showed to us really touched me and it turn out to be my passion and my part time job. I love wedding photography so much and it is the most satisfied moment for me when I see how the couple appreciate and happy about the images and moments that I capture for them no matter how tired I am at the end of the shooting session.

Thanks to Yee and her lovely lengchai hubby, I finally make my 1st trip to Bali and one step further to my dream of shooting prewedding at overseas beside Singapore previously.
My 1st impression, Bali is very much like “Phuket” feel but with nice sky colour and landscape once we touch down at the airport. Over the past 2 days, I think religious - Hindu majority is very much an important activities for local. No high rise buildings and even highway build for this island which is bigger size than Singapore due to religion issue. We travel from one place to another with around 48KM took us more than an hour to do so. Most of the places outside Kuta areas are covered with padi fields. People can even take bath in the river and I saw some old ladies walking half nude in their village. Everything is so different and really cant imagine that if we are not here to experience it. The driver told us Bali is an island full of myth, legends believes and stories.
There are far more areas for us to explore. Everywhere is a good spot for us to take prewedding photos. Sunrise around 5.30am which allow us to have longer day shooting….oh.. need to wake up early tomorrow for another sunrise shooting… shall continue blogging about Bali and perhaps some photo highlights soon….Good night
p/s: today is Indonesia Election Day for Parliment Seats… you know what, I didnt see any posters or banners on any political parties hanging at the road side like what happen in Malaysia….. lol…
