Good day, As normal begining part of the introduction, my name is Edwin Tan…..
Back in May 2007, when I bought my first DSLR Canon 400D, my intention was to record the precious moments for my family. I was in photography classes during my study in The One Academy back in 1990’s when I was teenager. During film time. I still remember the time I spend on developing film, and photo outing at dataran merdeka to capture the magic hour moments. Everything was so exciting and I fall in love with photography since then even it was just a semester with less than 13 classes. However, due to financial problem, I have to quit The One Academy and join a gas industry. As developing films are very expensive at that point of time, I have to hold back on photography After all these years, when i am back into photography, I started shooting portrait and some still life and same time was thinking may be marco photography will be my choice..However, in July 2007, after I join one of the master of wedding photographers in Malaysia, Zung, ThePhotoz’s workshop, the slideshow that Zung show us really touched me and it turn out to be my passion and my part time job now. I love wedding photography so much and it is the most satisfied moment for me when I see how the couple appreciate and happy about the images and moments that I capture for them no matter how tired I am at the end of the shooting session.

Ryan and Antra’s wedding in June 2008. A fantastic actual day with all the fun time with the hengdai and ji mui games, I still remember Antra non stop laughing it when she hear it from her room. Their dinner was held in Sime Darby Convention Center The Decoration and the unbrella shape lighting is gorgeous. Let me share some of the photos highlights. Just came back from a very nice garden wedding at Ipoh Indulgence Hotel. Couple, Jeremy and Jamie engage our service since last year and from the date we accept her booking, I was so worried about the low light condition that mention by Jeremy. Worse of all, both of them know photography. In fact, both of them have been carrying around their camera during the whole day event today. Both Jeremy and Jamie are very details person. Like Jamie’s blog to us, it is fortunate and unfortunate as it is a big challenge to us. I was thinking of 5D and 85mm f1.2 since the day she booked us and she have wrote a very details guide to us (33 pages) of photographer must take note information to us in her blog as a guide for us.
Oh, I do remember your best man speech, single men’s life is incomplete and once you married, your life is finished hahah, that is really a good one…But no worry, I will say, once you married, your single life is finished, and your new chapter of your life will begin with your partner...
Indulgence is a very nice restaurant and I am lucky that during our slide-show preparation Jeremy bought us some sandwich and I have a chance to taste on their famous warm round cake. The taste? fantastic!!! Their staff are all friendly and nice to us. The newly open hotel room is even better..nice bathroom and deco. If you have a chance to visit this place, don’t forget, they are not open on Monday and Tuesday.
As for Jeremy and Jamie, this is our first garden wedding and I do appreciate you have trusted us as your wedding photographers. Hope our 2 hours slide-show will be able to fulfill your requirement and do stay tuned for more photos after this… and lastly, congratulation on your marriage!!

Came to know Wye Ee via her sister Crystal who are one of my 1st portrait shooting model back in May 2007. In fact Willie & Wye Ee are our 1st outstation couple booked during MyWeddingMomentz setup. Their wedding was held in Kuantan and dinner at both Kuantan and Bangsar back in June. This was my 1st time to Kuantan since I was 5. In my memory, I can only remember big waves at the sea side of Kuantan Beach when I was small. Well, when we attend Wye Ee’s actual day, it was a sunny day, in fact a hot date, weather only start cooling down when we were heading back to KL….

Some of the shoots at KL Bankers Club
One day, I receive a message from Eunice via msn, just mention, “ok, how much is your package? I would like to confirm you as my wedding PG.” Just like that, without seeing me, just bank in the cash to my account.. hahahah..thank you for trusting us without meet up with us at all. Alex & Eunice have a unique wedding, whereby Alex will need to travel 3 hours plus from Kajang to Melaka on the same day during their actual day and Stephen, my partner have to stay over night at Alex’s home. I still remember that night before, I only slept less than 3 hours after I reach Melaka. But end of the day, all our hardworking is worth.. we have fun and enjoy the whole actual day shooting from tea ceremony, church wedding, dinner and after party…It was a good memory to us….some of my favourate shoots
Met both Edward & Angie at Station One, Cheras in one of the weekend afternoon. I still remember both Amanda and Benjamin followed their crazy dad running around meeting clients and while their daddy showing the photos, they are having fun eating all the junk food that they can order…oh well….
Back to Edward & Angie, both are friendly and fun couple. During Meeting, Angie told Stephen to assist them to get the proposal video up during the wedding dinner. It was a surprise proposal which really touched Angie during their overseas vacation.
