Starring: James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Thomas Kretschmann

Not sure why Angelina & Morgan Freeman pickup this movie, it does not work well for me. The storyline is too unrealistic. I have been watching a lot of movies and are open minded to all sort of theories but shooting in curve line, healing in the pool? this is way to comics to me.

The movie mention the theory that : Kill one and maybe save thousands

But who have the right to issue such order? a loom that gives the names of the targets through a binary code hidden in weaving errors of the fabric?

Beside those usual gun fights and car chases, don’t think this movie worth for 2nd watch.

A movie that I waited so long, starring by Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro & Lin Chi-ling whereby story started In 208 A.D., in the final days of the Han Dynasty, Prime Minster Cao Cao convinced the fickle Emperor Han the only way to unite all of China was to declare war on the kingdoms of Xu in the west and East Wu in the south. With this campaign, Xu & Wu are formed into alliance against eight hundreds thousands of Cao Cao’s military.

This part of the story is one of the best part in The Romance of Three Kingdoms, also known as The battle of Chibi 赤壁之戰 . The allied victory at Red Cliffs ensured the survival of Liu Bei and Sun Quan, gave them control of the Yangtze. In this movie, it only mention the pre-war part of the battle of Chibi, including how this battle started and how Zhuge Liang & Zhou Yu came to know each others.

I remember during school time, beside The Journey to the West, this is the other main novel that I repeated at least 3 times. I love zhuge Liang, CaoCao, Lui Bei, Zhang Fei and of course the unbeatable General Guan Yu & Zhao Ji Long

This movie is definitely better than the earlier movie I watch, The Mummy and I cant wait for the 2nd part of the movie to be release.

I went for a movie at Damansara Cineplex, yes, the premier show of The Mummy (Tomb of the Dragon Emperor)

Well, what can i say, after all these years, this is the 1st time I watching movie alone. Kinda like those old days during teenager time whereby no girls wanna go out with me, I will either ask my bro to accompany me or go watch movies alone. Yeah I know it is lame.

Back to this movie review. After year 1999, The Mummy, all the continue series are nothing but a purely action pack without strong storyline movie to me. Brendan Fraser was a hope to replace Indiana Jones series in my heart and this year both The Mummy and Indiana Jones can only called as “entertaining” movies to me.

All of the sudden, I felt Brendan is getting old, Michelle Yeoh, Jon Hannah, Jet Li are all getting old, and I think me too….all the movies stars that I know even Harrison Ford….

okok, back to the movie…lets see, I really appreciate how they can link the china ancient Qin Shi Huang to their Mummy stories series. The animation is good, actions is great…just like i said, an entertaining movie, If you have extra 2 hours to spend, go get a ticket and watch it, if you are like me, thousands of photos to be edited, please… save your time, get back on your workstation, and do your jobs…

Synopsis: The story revolves around a love triangle wrapped in a movie-within-a-movie, and is punctuated throughout by the heartfelt score and love songs. Fate brings them back together and dictates them to collaborate in a musical about the love triangle, an irony which reflects the harsh reality. I watch this movie years ago and recently, I watch it again and again. perhaps more than 5 times? love the way they present the story and every songs in the movies too…it prominently features the device of a story within a story, which depicts a real-life love triangle between the actors themselves. It is also a musical movie
