I am Malaysia Wedding Photographer with current professional photographer associations joined: AGWPJA, WPJA, WPPI & PPA. From the very beginning when I bought my first DSLR Canon 400D in May 2007, my intention was to record the moments for my family and the growth of my lovely pair of kiddo. I was in photography classes during my study in The One Academy back in 1990’s when I was teenager. During film time. I still remember the time spend on developing film, and photo outing at dataran merdeka to capture the magic hour moments. Everything was so exciting and I fall in love with photography since then even it was just a semester with less than 13 classes. However, due to financial problem, I have to quit The One Academy and join a gas industry. As developing films are very expensive at that point of time, I have to hold back my interest on photography After all these years, when i am back into photography, I started shooting portrait and some still life and same time was thinking may be marco photography will be my choice..However, in July 2007, after I join the workshop organized by one of the master of wedding photographers in Malaysia, the slideshow that he showed to us really touched me and it turn out to be my passion and my part time job. I love wedding photography so much and it is the most satisfied moment for me when I see how the couple appreciate and happy about the images and moments that I capture for them no matter how tired I am at the end of the shooting session.

Due to wedding job assignment on both days, I only manage to attend 1st half day of the event which I miss out a lot of fun and sharing later on. Nevertheless, I am glad I join the event in the morning and met all the awesome photographers and videographers who are eager to share their experiences without any reservation.
After a fun ice breaking session where everyone is looking for the signature on self nude portrait photographer,Fiona was the 1st speaker and share her gears in her ThinkTank Airport Security with us. LOL, that was really a poison one… Later on, Ian invited Fiona, Jon Low and myself as the panel on his discussion, “To be or not To Be” discussion about whether one should turn into full time photographers like Fiona and Jon or remain as part timer like Ian and myself.
Sametime, Kris from WeddingsMalaysia and Dennis from PrettyinWhite were giving talk on the other sessions.
It was a fun and good experience for me and glad to see so many photographers and videographers who are willing to share their experiences and thoughts in this industry. It really offer a great help and clearer path for those beginners.
