I am Malaysia Wedding Photographer with current professional photographer associations joined: AGWPJA, WPJA, WPPI & PPA. From the very beginning when I bought my first DSLR Canon 400D in May 2007, my intention was to record the moments for my family and the growth of my lovely pair of kiddo. I was in photography classes during my study in The One Academy back in 1990’s when I was teenager. During film time. I still remember the time spend on developing film, and photo outing at dataran merdeka to capture the magic hour moments. Everything was so exciting and I fall in love with photography since then even it was just a semester with less than 13 classes. However, due to financial problem, I have to quit The One Academy and join a gas industry. As developing films are very expensive at that point of time, I have to hold back my interest on photography After all these years, when i am back into photography, I started shooting portrait and some still life and same time was thinking may be marco photography will be my choice..However, in July 2007, after I join the workshop organized by one of the master of wedding photographers in Malaysia, the slideshow that he showed to us really touched me and it turn out to be my passion and my part time job. I love wedding photography so much and it is the most satisfied moment for me when I see how the couple appreciate and happy about the images and moments that I capture for them no matter how tired I am at the end of the shooting session.

The Treasure of The RainForest Photography Challenge and Conference
Last Friday, our journey to Kuching attending the workshop kicked start with 0800hrs flight from LCCT to Kuching…..One funny thing was, I was all the while sitting beside Clement and Ning during the flight and even join Clement with his Nitendo’s game not knowing he is Jim’s son…LOL.. 5 mins before we arrived Kuching, I told Clement that I am a photographer and he said, my dad too.. then I look at him and look at Ning… only I realise Clement has both Jim and Ning’s features.. hahahahah OMG.. my bad my bad.. I still remember Clement ask if I am full time photographer, when I answer no.. he answer- too bad. hahahahahah
After touch down, Alvin came to airport and fetch us direct back to Hilton Kuching. It was a relaxing afternoon and Ling, my client and friend now came over to fetch me for some nice tea break with bee hoon belacan and get myself some bird nest and rice wine.

During the 1st meeting, we are given the schedule and briefed by Alvin and Kenny on the following days program. It is also my first time meeting up with Mr. Yusuf Hashim, the administrator of PhotoMalaysia Forum who share his travel photography experience with us on that night.
Everyone went back to own hotel room and looking forward the following days excitement…
